Inspiration to Write
- The Happy Meemaw

I met author Elaine DeBohun for the first time when we connected via Riverside to record this episode of my podcast. I'd read about her books and was eager to learn her story, and I can't tell you how happy I am that she chose to speak with me. It isn't often that you listen to someone and get chills as they tell you about their journey, but that's what happened here.
DeBohun, author of Stars on Fire, All the Yellow Posies, and the upcoming The Starlight Menagerie, is a gentle soul who wrote what she thought was her crowning achievement as a child and didn't think much about writing after that. It took a tragic loss for her to find her muse and begin crafting her stories, a blend of historical fiction and mysticism. I value learning about authors and what drives them, and I'm so glad Elaine has found something she is not only good at but loves so much.
I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. You can find Elaine's work on Amazon, as well as at Agoura Coffee House on Caroline Street in Fredericksburg. You can follow her on Instagram at @elainedebohun.
Thanks for listening!
