Love Thy Neighbor

Love Thy Neighbor is the community food bank for King George County, Virginia. They are an arm of the Fredericksburg Food Bank, and are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides a shopper's choice food pantry, free of charge.

I had such a nice chat with Miriam Niemi, the current executive director of LTN, and enjoyed learning more about this organization that serves our local families. She is a career volunteer and has a passion for her family and her community. In addition to donations, LTN is always in need of volunteers to help keep the pantry stocked and accessible. Miriam addresses how volunteers are the lifeblood of LTN.

Current events are sending a demand signal we all need to heed - please donate to your local food bank. So many of our families, especially children, need your assistance in providing regular meals. The easiest way is a monetary donation, but food banks around the country will be conducting food drives throughout the holidays and beyond. LTN even has an Amazon wish list - donations will go directly to the pantry.
