Money Management for Retirees

I know I throw around a lot of superlatives on this blog, but today is such a wonderful day. My listeners will get the distinct honor of meeting my very best friend in the world. Karla Baker Salisbury and I met for the first time on the first day of Kindergarten in 1969. We grew up at Summersville Grade School and in a small town in southern Illinois. Even though our paths have gone in different directions through the years, we've remained the best of friends, and I'm so happy that she wanted to be part of my podcast.


Karla has spent over 40 years in the financial industry, and literally worked her way from the very bottom of the ladder to the top. She's so humble, but it's worth noting that the scope of her career and all of her successes and accomplishments earned her a place in the Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame.


All of this is to say, she knows her stuff. There is so much good info in here. For those of us who are fortunate enough to have moved into retirement, it's a pretty scary proposition. The only thing constant with our economy right now is the rate of change. We all want to live long lives and be able to enjoy each day and find adventures. Here's hoping this info will help you plan and find your way financially during such a great time in your lives.
