Today's episode of The Happy Meemaw Reads podcast features writer and master of all trades John Karpiscak, whose science fiction novel A Horse on the Moon features things that he is good at, and that he loves - engineering, problem solving, and horses, among other things.
I met John at Virginia Credit Union Stadium, where he and his wife are passionate Fredericksburg Nationals fans. In addition to his love of baseball, John is a devout Christian who loves caring for his horses and is an incredibly well-rounded soul. He has been writing for years within his profession before following his passion for science fiction and crafting his own stories. He has a resume' that's beyond impressive, but what I've learned that I like the most about him is his love of family and that he has gifted them with a love of travel, as he found so much pleasure in spending the time to show them other cultures.
He has also had a love of space, space technology, and science fiction since childhood, and it's so awesome that it's continued into adulthood, and he's turned it into something he can share with the world. I hope there are lots more books in his future!
