All Aboard with Mike Byle

Everyone has heard that old adage - if you do something you love, you never work a day in your life. While I'm sure some days were better than others, Mike Byle is the living embodiment of those words.

He grew up in a family of railroadmen and loved all things trains from very early on. He made it into a career, becoming an engineer (not the kind that runs the train!) and helping develop technology to advance trains and keep train travel safe. Upon retirement, he settled in Colonial Beach, VA, which is where I met him at a local business networking meeting.

It's a heckuva thing when you have so many model trains you have to find a building big enough to store them. Once Mike found that place, he realized he had the makings of a business, and CB Train Junction was born. His store is a train lover's dream, but he has lots of other fun things to offer as well. The photo on his website says it all - Mike is a happy guy that still gets to play with trains.
