Seth Whitten and disAbility Resource Center

I met Seth Whitten at a fundraising event for a local history museum. He works for disAbility Resource Center (dRC) in Fredericksburg, VA, and he'd come to share info about dRC and call a bingo game. I noticed his prosthesis but had no idea what an inspiring story he had to share.

Now that I've gotten to know him, he is just the nicest guy with a wonderful sense of humor. I'm honored that he shared his story with us, and the love he has for his family, who have been there for him throughout his journey. I appreciate the important work he and all those with dRC are doing for our community. He tells us all about dRC - the disAbility Resource Center is a Center for Independent Living (CIL) serving the Fredericksburg, Virginia, region since 1993.  The dRC helps people with disabilities to meet their own individualized independent living goals utilizing five CIL Core Services. Seth and the center's dedication to providing these services makes life better for so many of our residents.

I think you'll find his story very engaging and I hope you'll click the links below and learn more about dRC in our community.
