The Good Life w/Morgan Schmincke

In what seems like a lifetime ago, I turned our US Army quarters at Fort Meade into a childcare home to spend more time with our kids as my husband spent a considerable amount of time away with the Navy. I had several daycare children come through my home, but two were very special - they were sisters, the oldest of whom came into my home while in treatment for leukemia. Despite all, she was happy and positive, and even though she was only 4, she kept her beautiful smile. Morgan O'Brien Schmincke (and her sister Shannon) will always have a special place in my heart.

Flash forward to today. Morgan is a successful Speech Language Pathologist, a wonderful wife, and the mother of two beautiful daughters. When I started my podcast project, she was at the top of my list to feature in an episode so we could catch up and talk about her journey.
